How long does the procedure take?
It generally takes 30 minutes, and, for most people, the benefits will last a lifetime.
Are there any negative side-effects of the treatment?
The technique can, at times, stimulate the client to release toxins, physical or emotional, for a few hours or days following the session. This is usually normal and referred to as the detoxification process. Be sure to drink plenty of water and rest as needed. If unusual symptoms occur, do not hesitate to contact the office.

How frequently can the technique be performed?
This varies from person to person. Some bodies allow up to 3 sessions per week, while others need to space treatments farther apart. A certified ECR Practitioner can determine how frequently the sessions can be accepted by an individual.
Are there any special instructions or rules that need to be addressed for the day of the session?
When coming to a session, it is best that the person not be hungry, too stressed or too fatigued. Also, for 3 hours afterward, avoid any strenuous exercise or energy-balancing techniques, such as acupuncture or reiki. Large jewelry, other metals and electronics (cell phones) should be removed before the treatment.
