Do We Practice What We Preach? Find Out Here.

Our Practitioners at Heights of Health often get asked about what we do personally to stay healthy. We learn from you, our clients, but we also learn from each other. Cheryl, Heather and I are going to share our morning routines in this newsletter today and hope that it can be helpful to all of you. We will share Sonya’s morning routine next week.
Tracy’s morning routines:

I am going to start off by saying I am not at all perfect with my routines…but, when I do stick with them, I feel so much better. So, writing this is an encouragement to myself (and, hopefully you) to be even more consistent in my habits.
I wake up usually around 5 or 5:30 (I am definitely a morning person). Although it is tempting to look at my phone, I try to avoid it for the first hour of the day.
Immediately, I drink 16 ounces of Hydrogen water (this is a tablet that dissolves in your water and infuses your body with a very powerful antioxidant and fuels the cells) with my probiotics. (This is a product you can find at Heights of Health.)
I make some King Coffee (adaptogenic reishi mushrooms with organic coffee; also found at Heights of Health) and my husband and I take our coffees with our dog for a walk to get our bodies moving and our morning sunshine to set our circadian rhythms – and talk about the day ahead. We usually walk 1 mile with her and add another 3 miles after we drop her back home (she is 13, so a mile is all she can handle). My workdays are spent sitting a lot (I try to get up regularly and do a Nitric Oxide Dump to get my blood flowing), so I aim to get 7-10k steps early.
After a breakfast of eggs and veggies and my supplements, I am getting ready for work.
A couple of hacks that I learned from Heather are staples for me. While I brush my teeth, I alternate days between doing squats and doing lunges (habit stacking). And while I'm getting ready for work, I turn on my red-light panel so that I get some exposure every day.
Things I am not consistent with and would love to add back in are morning meditation and some stretching, so hold me to that! Even 10 minutes of each can make such a big difference.
Heather Goodwin’s Morning Routines:

As Tracy mentioned, none of us are “perfect” at nailing our morning rituals every single day. I fall into that camp too…and I give myself grace if I have to truncate any of the things below or even have to skip for the day. No matter how much time goes by without your routine, you can always jump back on the horse. Also, these routines don’t have to last hours. I usually tell my clients that it only takes a consistent 10 minutes to see positive effects. If I am running low on time, at a minimum, I will sit wherever I am, use my Truvaga Vagus Nerve Stimulator* (that only takes two min.), and belly breathe with my eyes closed until the machine turns off. 2 minutes! The amazing thing I can testify to, given my own life, is that when you routinely engage in a transforming routine like the ones we have shared, you will engage in a neuroplastic effect on your brain, body and nervous system. And, I promise you one thing: You WILL transform!
- I drink organic/mold free/low acid coffee with full-fat coconut milk and organic stevia.
- Sit on my PEMF mat by Therasage* (On either setting two for grounding or setting three for stress)
- Use my Truvaga Vagus Nerve Stimulator* for 2 minutes while I belly breathe.
- Meditate using the Insight Timer app* while facing my Mito red light* for skin health and calming of my prefrontal cortex. (10-20 min)
- Perform the Vibrant AffirmationsTM * exercise for 60 seconds (a tool I teach in the Mind Body Spirit Release ® Academy).
- Perform the Vibrant ProtectionTM * exercise to fortify my personal energy for the day.
- Take all my supplements with a drink containing collagen peptides, creatine and electrolytes, Energetix rehydration drops and Double Helix Water structuring drops. You can get all of these products at Heights of Health!
- As needed: I love the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)* modality, also called "Tapping".
If I’m feeling like I need to move some big emotions or am processing through something in particular, I will often do a tapping session as well.
- And like Tracy, I do my “habit stacking” while brushing my teeth by incorporating lunges and curtsy lunges until my electric toothbrush goes off (2 min).
Cheryl Hensley’s Morning Routine:

When I first wake up and am still lying in bed, I flip around and lie with my legs up on my headboard for a bit before getting out of bed. While doing so, I belly-breathe and do positive visualization/gratitude. I am an ‘exercise in the morning person’, so after I get my kids off to school, I do my exercise for the day.
A big thank you to our Practitioners for sharing their personal information! I hope you find these tips helpful to you. Watch next week for Sonya Garcia’s morning routine.
