Hopefully you are finishing a year of many blessings and joy and headed into 2026 with joyful anticipation. 2025 marked our 18th year of Heights of Health and we had a lot of exciting additions to the practice. In case you missed some of them, take a look below and feel free to reach out to us if you want more information.
Functional Medicine Lab Testing – We now offer a very wide array of tests to do a deep dive into your health: Gut Zoomer (microbiome, bacterial balance, hormones, toxins…), Total Toxin Burden (mold, environmental toxins, heavy metals), Food Sensitivities, Neural Zoomer (neurotoxins, pathogens…), Cardio Zoomer (deep dive into cardiovascular markers and genetics), Hormone Testing and much more! Each test includes a personalized Report of Findings with our specialist Allison.
Allison McWhorter, ND – Welcome to our new Functional Medicine Specialist! Allison reviews our functional testing and presents the reports to our clients and their practitioners. She does a great job synthesizing vast amounts of data into actionable steps to help you reach the next level of health, whether you are a current client or just interested in doing some functional lab testing.
Nutrigenomics Testing - Nutrigenomics explores how your genes interact with food, lifestyle, and environment. After you take your easy, at-home test, Tracy Southwick, ND, owner of Heights of Health, will create a personalized report showing you how your genes affect 36 different pathways, including cardiovascular health, brain and memory, detoxification, inflammation, histamines, oxidative stress, methylation, exercise, nutrient absorption, bone health, mood and behavior and much more! What makes this test so incredible is that everything tested is actionable! You can make lifestyle changes to manage your specific genetic makeup and up-level your health.
Book Club – The head of our Holistic Therapy Department, Heather Goodwin, MA, HHP, MBSR-MP, leads a fun and educational monthly “No Rules” Book Club, creating a great community of people who want to enrich their lives, laugh and grow – No need to even read the book, just join and learn – it is SO worth it!
Safe and Sound Protocol – The amazing, at-home program is directed by Peyton English, LCSW, to help you gracefully and easily regulate your nervous system and retrain it to feel safe and secure. This is something most everyone could benefit from and takes just a few minutes of relaxation per day. Take our FREE Nervous System Regulation Assessment to see how it might help you.
Virtual Assessments – This is designed for those who live too far from Houston and/or have a limited time to come into the clinic and want monthly recommendations to keep their health moving in a positive direction. This is a very cost-effective and efficient way to get personalized recommendations for your health.
Wishing you a peaceful, joy-filled and blessed 2026! Thank you for all of your support in 2025 and we look forward to serving you in the future!
